"813": THE SECRET
"813",
written in 1910, and "LE
TRIANGLE D’OR", written in 1915 by Maurice LEBLANC are the two
complementary facets of the Great Secret, hidden in Aleth-les-Bains (Aude)
over the centuries.
"813"
reveals to the initiate who knows how to read between the lines, the
nature of the Treasure whose revelation is near:
"The Treasure (Tomb) is a king
of the Jews, and it means DEATH".
EXOTERIC (profane) READING
This
novel, whose title is the year of the founding of the Aleth abbey,
recounts the search by LUPIN, disguised as Paul SERNINE, for papers of
extreme importance for the future of the World - hidden in a castle in
Germany, in the Palatinate so dear to the Rosicrucians.
The diamond king, KESSELBACH, is assassinated in his hotel room in Paris;
the key to his secret,
composed of the three figures "8,1,3"
and several letters forming an enigmatic and incomplete word, "APOON", is stolen from him.
Following many tribulations, LUPIN, who is also head of security under the
name Monsieur LENORMAND, is unmasked and left for dead by an implacable enemy in black, whom he believes is Louis de MALREICH (LM as in
LEBLANC Maurice, and white against black).
At the end of the novel LUPIN finds the papers, which he returns to the
KAISER, and solves the enigma:
Whereas he believed that APOON stood for the word APOLLO(N) (because each
of the castle's twelve bedrooms bears the name of a Greek divinity), he
realises it is in fact N-APOLEON
who, having slept in one bedroom, received the secret; the rigged clock (horloge = l’or loge = the gold resides) conceals a hiding place,
which opens when it strikes twelve times, having first pressed the figures
of the hours 8, 1, 3.
ESOTERIC (hidden) READING
Paul
SERNINE (anagram of Arsène LUPIN) also has himself called Prince RENINE;
this name, which is the contraction of "Rennes-mine",
contains the key to many other riches, "historical
and philosophical"...
The true secret of "813" is "APOON", and it is
indisputable that the three figures and five letters are linked; if
"813" is an allusion to Aleth, whose abbey was founded on that
date by Count BERA, all that remains is to discover what is hidden
there...
1° - The allusions to Jesus Christ
BAR ABA are numerous:
Let
us consider the enigma, page 406:
-
"First there are three
perfectly distinct figures: an 8, a 1, and a 3...
- 813...yes, I know...then?
- Then, some letters...several letters among which it is possible to
reconstitute with certainty only
one group of three and, immediately after, one group of two letters.
- APO...ON, right?
- Ah! You know..."
The
solution is simple:
The
real name they are looking for was suggested,
and resembles APOLLO(N); the N of NAPOLEON was judiciously added to
suggest the Golden number, "N" (1,618).
In
reality, three letters are
indeed missing, but all of them are between APO and ON.
The solution is found in Revelation 9.(11):
"They had as king over them the angel of the
abyss*, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek, APOLLYON [in Latin, the
exterminating angel]", who is none other than Jesus BAR ABA.
2° - The scenario of the substitution of Jesus Christ
BAR-ABA by an innocent person who was crucified in his place was cleverly transposed in the novel.
LUPIN
condemns to death Léon MASSIER, who is innocent, and whose name has the
same initials, LM, as his adversary Louis de MALREICH (in fact, Laëtitia).
Page
493:
"Finally set free by me (LUPIN), who has sent to the scaffold the
innocent person she substituted for herself...Dolorès will be queen (reine)."
3° - The mystery of the resurrection finds a rational
explanation
Once
the judiciary error has been made, it becomes necessary to cover it up by
getting rid of the only proof of the substitution, which is the body...
Page
495:
" - Listen...you mustn't
say anything about this, right? Innocent, maybe, I'm not saying the
opposite...But what good are revelations?
For a scandal? A judiciary error can have huge consequences. Is it really
worth it? A rehabilitation? What for? He
wasn't even condemned under his name. It was the name MALREICH that
was destined for public execration...precisely the name of the guilty
party...So?
And, gradually pushing LUPIN towards the door, he says to him:
- Go on...Go back there...Get rid of the body...and don't leave any traces, uh? Not the
slightest trace of all this affair..."
4° - The body of Jesus BAR-ABA, lit by ETERNAL LAMPS,
seems to harbour a menace...
LUPIN's
adversary is Louis de MALREICH.
-
Whose name means the Evil Empire (p. 432):
" – And what has he
done? For what purpose?
- I don't know, Sire, but it is the very spirit of evil."
(The spirit is the Ka**.)
-
Who has a demon's claws (p. 443):
" - He
will not kill me. I will tear out his claws."
-
Who resembles a vampire (pp. 454 and 455):
(It
is Léon*** MASSIER, whom LUPIN believes is Louis de MALREICH)
" – He had a thin, dry
face, entirely smooth, pierced by deep sockets in the hollow of which were
grey eyes, the colour of iron. The skin seemed stretched from one bone to
another, like a parchment, so stiff, so thick, that no hair could have
pierced it."
"The ashen
face of MALREICH, his gloomy eyes, his corpse-like cheekbones, his
emaciated neck..."
*
Jesus BAR-ABA, son of Judas of GAMALA, was Prince of GAMALA, a village
perched like an eagle's nest overlooking a vertiginous abyss, and
dominating Lake Tiberias ("REX MUNDI AD GENESARETH" of Parchment
n° 2).
**
According to Michel LAMY p. 187:
"The Ka that the Egyptian
religion speaks of is none other than this double...abstract individuality
of the personality, impregnated with all the characteristics of the
individual, and endowed with an independent existence."
***
We invite readers to read "l’éon" (the EON) and
make an anagram of MASSIER!...
-
Who sucks the blood of his victims (pp. 455 and 488):
" - He (LM)
whom he (LUPIN) had imagined to be a vile beast
feeds on living flesh and sucks
the blood of his victims."
"She
killed, greedy for blood, reckless and infernal."
-
Who lives in obscurity (p. 456):
"This life...was extremely bizarre. The kind of Lodge,
as it was called...neither saw nor received anyone...And the
windows, although wide open,
even at night, always remained dark,
without ever being lit by the brightness of a candle or a lamp."
-
Who appears to pass through walls (p. 456):
"An extraordinary thing happened here; suddenly,
as LUPIN was following him, the man, who walked with small steps through
the streets, without ever stopping, disappeared
as if by a miracle...He seemed to vanish in the midst of the crowd, like a
phantom. And LUPIN stood there, petrified, dumbfounded, full of rage
and confusion."
-
And reads thoughts (p. 374):
"But the other, this person of shadows and
silence, the other dominated him, upsetting all his schemes, and exhausted
him with his sly and infernal attacks."
-
LUPIN fights against a soporific (p. 439), (against a diabolical
possession?):
"It was a struggle, the fierce struggle of his
brain, his nerves, his will,
against this frightful torpor that paralysed him, a fight of the
moribund against death, a fight of life against nothingness."
5° - How do we find it?
-
By measuring the N (N-APOLEON), starting from the menhir of Aleth (p.
350):
"It's simply a question of finding old Steinweg,
since he's the one who has the word of the
enigma."
It
is impossible to be clearer, indicating the need to look for a play on
words;
The "old steinweg"
means the "old stone road" in German.
Starting from the menhir, we have to measure the golden number, which
designates the Calvary located at the mine's entrance.
-
By going to the mine (p. 439):
The count gave his orders and
returned. Lupin had not awoken. The Emperor, who examined the room, said
to Waldemar:
-
This is the room of MINERVA here, isn't it?
- Yes, Sire.
- But then why this "N" in
two places?
There were in fact two Ns, one above the fireplace (= cheminée which, phonetically,
is "chemin nez" = the direction of the nose), the other
above an old clock (= horloge which, phonetically, is "or loge"
= place of gold) built into the wall, completely demolished, whose
complicated mechanism could be seen, dead weights on the end of their
cords."
The room of Minerva is the twelfth room (8+1+3 =
12), the one where NAPOLEON slept, and not the "APOLLO" room.
The
secret is in the word Minerva.
"MINERVA"
MINE - R*- VA
VA - AIRE – MINE (go-area-mine)
*
We find again the "R" of POUSSIN's painting, pointed out by a
shepherd...
This Secret is repeated
and confirmed by the presence of the statue of "Minerva" on the
fountain on the Place de la République, right in the centre of Aleth...
SUMMARY
The
secret of the novel is that of the presence in Aleth ("813"),
on the "mine" (MINERVA) (§ 8) site, of Jesus BAR-ABA (APO-LLY-ON),
considered to be an evil, diabolical creature, hungry for blood. (§ 4).
The exterminating Angel will appear at the moment of the Apocalypse...
